Add the services and withdrawal you use
Whop lists orchestration at 0.8% and billing at 0.5% when enabled, plus tax and remittance at 2% when enabled and tax is collected. These add to base processing; payout and risk-event charges are also listed separately. Additional fee categories
Available withdrawal methods depend on your country. Some withdrawals undergo compliance review, which affects availability of the instant option. Whop payout methods
For your estimate, write down the selected payout method and how often you plan to withdraw. Keep per-payout costs on their own line so that a change in withdrawal frequency is visible.
An illustrative calculation
A $100 domestic card purchase at 2.7% + $0.30 produces a $3 base processing fee and $97 after that fee alone. This example excludes optional services, other applicable charges, tax, refunds, reserves and payout costs. It is not a quote for the amount reaching your bank.
For a useful budget, repeat the calculation using your actual offer price and payment mix. Separate costs from the timing of cash availability, and avoid counting the same fee twice.
Keep refunds, reserves and tax separate
Whop says the customer receives the refunded amount even though processing fees reduced the seller’s original proceeds; it lists no additional refund-processing fee. Allow room for refunds in the cash plan. Whop refund guidance
A reserve holds part of the balance from payout and is not a fee. Review the reserve breakdown before treating the balance as available cash. Whop reserves
Tax treatment depends on whether the sale comes through Discover or a direct checkout, and on the tax option selected. Review responsibility and coverage separately from payment pricing. Whop tax options
Review your own setup
Bring your offer price, buyer markets and a recent processing statement to the WhopDFY audit. Use them to build a documented estimate with each assumption visible.
Common questions
Is the base card rate the total cost?
Not necessarily. Use the payment rate, enabled services, transaction events and withdrawal method together when building the estimate.
Is sales tax a Whop fee?
Sales tax is a government tax. Whop’s tax-service charge is a separate cost, with responsibilities depending on the selected arrangement. Whop tax guidance
Does every buyer see the same financing options?
No. Provider availability depends on eligibility and location, among other conditions. Whop financing options
How should I compare this with my current provider?
Use the same transaction examples and include every service you need. Keep the assumptions beside the arithmetic so differences are easy to check.
