Treat future billing, processing history, and historical analytics as three separate workstreams. This guide covers new checkout and access delivery. Build and test the connection
Inventory the offer
Record its price, billing interval, trial, included Kajabi products, refund policy, and current access rules. Identify existing subscribers separately from new buyers.
Map the delivery destination
Associate the Whop product with the correct Kajabi Offer. Kajabi supports granting and revoking Offer access through Zapier; its inbound webhooks require Growth or Pro. Confirm the account’s available features before choosing a route. Kajabi Zapier documentation.
Choose the right events
Whop documents Payment Completed and membership-validity triggers. Use payment confirmation for payment records and membership status for ongoing access where appropriate. Define what happens after expiration, refunds, and failed renewals instead of treating every payment event as a new enrollment. Whop Zapier events.
Check the customer journey
Test a new buyer, an existing Kajabi customer, duplicate events, and access removal. Confirm the correct course opens and the buyer receives usable login instructions. Switch a limited entry point
Update one sales-page button after the complete journey passes. Keep a rollback route and compare payment records with successful access grants before expanding.

Common questions
Do I need to move my Kajabi courses?
No. The external-checkout approach keeps delivery in Kajabi and grants the relevant Offer after purchase. Kajabi’s documented approach.
Will current subscribers automatically start billing in Whop?
Do not assume that. Confirm a supported subscription migration separately, including payment credentials, renewal dates, and customer requirements. Until then, plan around existing billing continuing in its current system.
Will my old Kajabi sales appear in Whop analytics?
Do not treat them as imported. Whop defines gross revenue from payments to the Whop account; retain historical reports separately unless a specific import is confirmed. Whop analytics definitions.
Is a thank-you-page redirect enough to deliver a course?
No. Test the actual account and Offer access. A redirect is a navigation step; the delivery connection must grant the intended access.
