Complete these setup checks

  1. Confirm the owner and access

Keep the business owner in control. If help is needed, assign a suitable team role with only the necessary permissions; Whop supports preset and custom roles. Whop team permissions.

  2. Describe the real offer

Prepare a clear name, deliverables, price, billing interval, and delivery location. Whop products support one-time, subscription, and free pricing; apps are optional when fulfillment happens elsewhere. Product setup.

  3. Complete owner verification

The owner should follow the current Whop prompts and enter sensitive identity and bank details directly. Whop’s payout setup includes identity checks, bank linking, and ID upload. Payout setup requirements.

  4. Add customer-facing policies

Review your existing terms and refund expectations against the offer. Whop provides document uploads in Settings → Legal and a setting to require terms acceptance. Policy upload settings.

  5. Create the payment entry point

Create the checkout link for the intended product and pricing option. Check the amount, currency, recurring terms, required questions, and post-purchase destination before placing it on your site. Checkout-link options.

  6. Prove delivery and handover

Test the customer journey through payment confirmation and actual access or fulfillment. Document refund handling, cancellations, failed delivery, and who fixes each issue. Save the offer mapping and account handover notes for the owner.

Keep migration decisions explicit

List existing subscribers before changing any payment entry point. Future subscription billing needs its own verified plan; preserve processing history and historical analytics separately. A working new checkout is not evidence that those three items have migrated.

WhopDFY’s payments-account setup is free. Fulfillment connections and custom implementation start from $500, scoped after an audit. Request an audit to separate basic account setup from the work needed around your existing tools.
